Cooking has me hooked on art, beauty and creativity. As an expression of creativity I prepare personalised dining experience that is tailor-made to your tastes. I am passionate about creating new dishes that exist in the moment, just for you. I ultimately believe that humility is everything. I always reflect and become better every time I cook…

My history...

I am an Ionian Islander grown up in Corfu island, and I bring with me the distinct cuisine of the Ionian islands, and particularly Corfu, that has influences from the Italian cuisine and culinary traditions from all over the Mediterranean basin. I was only 7 when I cooked for the first time and then presented my recipe at school, urged by my teacher. Since that moment I knew that gastronomy was a cacharole full of magic!

After culinary school in the Organization of Tourism Education and Training in Corfu, I spent eight years in the restaurant business, working next to prize awarded chefs who were mentors for me. Following that period, I decided to opt for private chef services. This has allowed me to continue growing as a chef, while taking care of my guests in a fully personalized way. I have also worked numerous events, parties, weddings and VIP dinners.

Cooking in the moment...

My journey in the world of gastronomy is a rich and absorbing journey, with recipes that adjust each time, as personalized as possible. I take every detail of your desires and transform it in a unique way every time to delight your culinary senses. In my work I take the risk of combining creative flavor combinations that I feel are suitable for my guest at that particular moment. These discoveries make me proud and humble at the same time.

My relation with ingredients...

My journey with foods and ingredients did not come to a halt with those discoveries and my fascination with cooking has continued to grow and develop beyond the confines of philosophies and trends. I like to create flavors in my own unique way that smell warm and nostalgic. I develop a close relation with the ingredient at hand each time and my guest will enjoy the fruits of this relation in the particular moment.

My travels on your table...

Everything that I have learned through my travels, will find its way to your table. Apprenticed next to accomplished chefs, I learned that the best culinary teaching does not come from a school, but is discovered. I cooked endlessly and absorbed every bit of experience I could from my travels.

Inspiration...

The inspiration for creating my dishes comes from the wish of my guests first and foremost; then the seasonal availability from local produce; and last but not least from my traveling, eating out, and reading. I have spent years travelling through continents and my devotion to each cuisine runs deep. I do everything I can to make each cuisine my own. When I am cooking a cuisine I always connect to the culture behind it.

My approach deliciously individual...

My passion for being a chef means never settling for what I know. I want to reach further, constantly adding to my knowledge and skills. That is truly where the magic happens and that is the challenge I take in every assignment I have. My cooking changes every day, everywhere, all the time, through cultural interactions on every level of how I experience human life.

The future

My passion for creating dishes has never ceased. If anything, it has grown. I am open to new opportunities and collaborations. I love to travel and explore new adventures. I bring to the table a deep respect and care for food, my passion for flavor, and love for my guests. I possess the commitment, spirit, and discipline to continuously discover the next new creation!
